At my doctors appointment this morning the doctor has decided that we are going to go ahead and move the due date from the 19 June to the 11th. This means I am now over 37 weeks - this means baby can come at any moment. Going by the last three ultrasounds, the original blood test AND my fundal height has been measuring a week ahead so he (and the doctor above him) agreed that it should be officially moved.
My little girl is head down but still has not turned properly. She seems to be in the same position as Eddie was - not anterior or posterior but halfway in-between. The dr. seems a little bit concerned. While he is happy for me to still attempt a VBAC it seem sot thought that I am going to end up in an emergency c-section again. Not looking forward to that.
What else? For the past few weeks I have been getting braxton hicks. When I go for walks with Eddie they go for a few hours but never really too regular and not really that painful. I can feel the contraction roll it ways down and then near the end it gets super painful and slows down bit. For the past few nights I have been getting them once I go to bed - I am hoping these are all good signs that she is ready to go and isn’t going be horrible and mean to me like her brother.
Hmm there sin’t too much else to addd. My labour bag is nearly packed and little miss’s things are packed. I am hoping to get Eddies stuff together today or tomorrow because he will be staying at my mums for a few days. Also I am as big as a house but I still feel smaller than what I was with Eddie.
So I am pretty sure anyone on pinterest would have seen those lovely tissue paper pom pom things that you make and hang from the roof and the look absolutely perfect? Well that was meant to be the main decoration at my baby shower today. I just tried to make one (emphasise on the try) and it has trend out looking like rumpled up tissue paper in a sphere-ish shape. Maybe it is a good thing no-ones coming today !
So last night I stayed up late looking at activities to do with Edward (I really feel like I am not helping learn as much as I should be) and tonight I have so far just added a million things to his amazon wish list. Why do I waste so much time when there are a million things I have to get done before Button gets here!!
its pretty sad that my baby shower is tomorrow and only 2 people have rsvp’d. Only one of them was as coming =( worst decision ever!
I really really want to go the babies and toddler expo in brisbane - it is 3 days after my due date though :(
I want this jumper for Eddie so much - but he already has so much clothing. Trying to be good with money is so hard :(
Today I have eaten a packet of tim tams….
So instead of spending my night doing some cleaning and uploading some photos of my gorgeous son I instead looked at lots of house organisation blogs even though I don’t have a house to organise -_-. I need help
Adorable baby giveaway!
So this isn’t going to be a typical giveaway. I honestly think some people show favoritism when it comes to those! How do we KNOW that the random number you picked was the first one that came up?? Lol :)Here’s what’s up for grabs;
For the boys; A BRAND NEW set of 3 month one piece rompers from Carter’s (pictured above)
For the girls; A 4 piece gift set that includes - a blanket, a burp cloth, two wash cloths and one bib (pictured above)
The rules;
To enter my adorable baby giveaway, you must submit the cutest most adorablest (yes, I know that’s not a word) picture of your little one! You’ll have 1 week (until May 17th) to enter, then I will be posting them for people to vote on which baby has the cutest picture! Voting will be open for 2 weeks, closing on May 31st.You don’t need to be following me to enter. I will open my submissions link on my page, so enter there. Also, you can reblog this to get the word around, but reblogs will do you no good in this giveaway!
This is open to both boys and girls! If I don’t get enough submissions, then my idea will be a bust, and this will just go to a regular giveaway. I just thought this would be more fun!
So send those adorable pictures in!
I will ask that no one reblogs these pictures, but if you still don’t feel comfortable submitting a picture, then…I’m sorry. But those are my rules!
Can’t wait for Eddie to be all better so that I can stop being the walking tissue - no point changing clothes because with minutes they are covered with snot again -_-
